hi all, i'm new to the list!
i'm a happy macsword / gnomesword user (two frontends for the sword project.
happy except that the only french bible is the 1910 Louis Segon. While i use
both the 1969 segon and the ostervald, i would like to move them both into OSIS
format (to be used in sword).
i'm working throught the dtd and the userguide etc. what is the osisText for
the ostervald? i know that it uses masoretic versification schemes for the old
testament. could anybody give me pointers on where to look for info on this? is
there any existing projects on this text?
also, i'm just using jedit, and i was wondering if there is a better
open-source xml editor. i'm an old-school vi guy, i LOVE vi and i would like to
be able to continue to use it, but neither it (nor jedit for that matter) finds
the dtd from xmlns:osis="http://www.bibletechnologies.net/2003/OSIS/namespace"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
as per the user guide. i'm suspecting that the user guide is at fault here. but
what is the best thing for working with OSIS?
