Luddite Editor for OSIS ?

All the talk of editors for OSIS has got me going again, I realise that
for now most people producing OSIS content are techie enough to use
glorified text editors. Many of us even get a sort of perverse
satisfaction out of hand coding. BUT if OSIS is to make good on its
technical promise as a format for ordinary biblical scholars and even
Bible readers to make texts that can interopperate then we need an
Editor for Dummies. The best candidate I've seen is the add-in for MSWord.

(It would be even better if it was an add-in for Open Office, in keeping
with OSIS open ideals...)

Is this still being developed or is what I see all we get? In particular
is anyone writing a Manual for Dummies so ordinary folk can use it?

Sorry if this sounds stroppy or ungrateful, I am not, I'm hugely
grateful but keen to see more!

Tim

Ask on the OpenOffice.org mailing list, I think they're working on
something like this.
